We Want You to Look Your Best!
There are many steps to creating a great looking senior portrait that is to be enjoyed and shared for years to come. The most
important step begins with you .Please take note of the following suggestions, as some things cannot be corrected by digital photography.
CLOTHING: Some poses that we take may show you full length. Please be sure your outfit is complete and neat (pressed), including your shoes. Unless you are looking for a certain look, sleeveless tops do not photograph well. We suggest long sleeve outfits to draw attention to your face. Depending on your session you will be able to have more than two outfits, i.e. one casual, one dressy or a uniform.
HAIR: Though we want your hair to be neat, a fresh cut or style may not look quite right in the camera and hair cannot be retouched to look natural.
SUNTAN: Take great care not to get sunburned before your portrait session. We cannot correct for redness from sunburn, peeling skin and for girls strap marks. Note: we can add a suntan look with our camera filters.
MAKE UP: We suggest you wear your makeup as if you were going out for the evening. A little better than everyday but not overdone. Don’t experiment at your session.
FACIAL HAIR: Our cameras have very good eyes and will pick up a 5 o’clock shadow. Please shave before your session, but watch for those nicks.
YOUR EYES: Please be rested for your session. We can retouch the usual lines and bags under your eyes caused by smiling, however your portrait will reflect if you haven’t had enough sleep.
JEWELRY AND FINGERNAILS: We will be photographing your
hands in one or more poses. So please have your nails neat, clean or polished. If you have special ring or two, don’t forget to have them cleaned too!
